The Pool Safely campaign is a national public education effort by the Consumer Product Safety Commission to reduce child drownings and non-fatal submersions, and entrapments in swimming pools and spas. The World Waterpark Association is proud to be a supporter of the Pool and Spa Safety Act and the Pool Safely campaign. Make it your practice at waterparks to follow the simple steps that can save a life.
Just adding one extra water safety step can make all the difference. The safest system is being alert at all times, knowing life-saving skills and having the right equipment (compliant drain covers, barriers, alarms and sensors). Add as many precautions as possible no matter how safe and responsible you already are.
