Annual Convention
The WWA Convention continues to be the exclusive showcase for the waterpark industry. The Trade Show offers more waterpark exhibitors than any other amusement show in the world representing both the newest ideas in waterpark products and services, plus those proven performers that have brought the industry through the first 24 years. The Symposium typically features more than 50 seminars and workshops on core industry issues, as well as personal and professional development. Special workshops are dedicated to specialized areas of our industry such as hotel/resort development and operation and international and public sector facilities. There will also be many opportunities for networking outside the educational seminars and trade show hours. The WWA has arranged lots of social events and activities at which attendees may spend time relaxing and conversing with other industry professionals.

Annual Spring Symposiums
WWA takes its educational message to a global audience with its Annual Spring Symposiums offering state of the industry training with the benefit of geographically specific agendas and networking opportunities designed to take operations, marketing and profits to a new level. The dates for 2008 are: The North American Spring Symposium, Feb. 5-6, in the "waterpark capital of the world," Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; The 3rd Annual European Symposium, March 4-5, at Center Parcs Europe in De Eemhof, The Netherlands; The Middle Eastern Symposium, in conjunction with the DEAL show, April 22-23, in Dubai, U.A.E. Each of WWA's Spring Symposium's offers educational support and networking opportunities and cover topics such as industry standards and practices, guest expectations, safety management, marketing, public relations and more.

WWA Groups
The World Waterpark Association's newest member benefit, WWA Groups, is an online community for sharing and exchanging information. It allows members to discuss topics of importance with their peers from around the globe as easily as sending e-mail. However, this is a private group. You must be a member in good standing with the World Waterpark Association to participate.

WWA Committees
Here is your chance to help make a difference for the whole waterpark industry. WWA Committees are small groups of waterpark professionals who are committed to improving the industry as a whole. There are many committees from which to choose. There is an Education Committee that works towards improving and expanding the educational programs offered by the WWA. There is a Legislative Issues Committee that monitors and reports about issues on Capitol Hill that affect the operation of waterparks in the USA. These are just a few examples of the many committees in which you may become involved to meet new people and provide an invaluable service to the entire waterpark industry.
